Trans Twitter Topics

A lot of things suck about being trans. But you know what rules? We get to choose, in the profoundest possible way, who we are and how we want to relate to the world. We dissect, dismember, and reconstruct ourselves. We live our lives deliberately in ways most people can't see.

That's something I'm grateful for, beyond measure. And as much as it sucks that I'll always speak "girl" with an accent, I know how hard I fought to get here, how much I sacrificed, how worth it it all was.

I get to look in the mirror, every day, and marvel at the woman I've become.
